I am a self professed nerd and proud of it. A dreamer living life with one foot trying to stay anchored on the ground while the rest of me takes up occupancy in the clouds. I am possessed of wanderlust and secretly hope to one day find a band of gypsies that I will ramble about with for the rest of my days. I earnestly believe that love is all we need. Not that mumbo jumbo butterfly emotion people call love but love which is a verb; that is long suffering and kind; that is not boastful or self serving; that rejoices in the truth. Love that has faith in all things; has hope in all things; endures all things. I want to be the love that never fails.

I am not a proponent of the excuse of the sin nature. I think it is just a convenient means to absolve ourselves of personal responsibility. I believe peace is as easy as the hard and laborious choice to create peace instead of war. I believe in God and I believe in Jesus but most Christians when they ask me (and actually take the time to listen) what I believe label me a heretic. That's okay. My Jesus didn't hang out with them and their kind when he came so I don't bother myself too much about it. And, frankly, with the reputation they have made for themselves I am often loathe to be categorized with them.

Some people call me fickle but, honestly, I just allow myself the freedom to change my mind and I think you should too. And no matter what you say, I do not have to be a part of your “real world.” I will simply make my own.
