I think the truth is, that to know me is to experience frustration with me.

I use to say I was Elvis in a past life but then I realized he died after I was born. So then I started telling people I was Carl Jung but then I learned that not enough time elapsed between our lives. So for now I'll just go with saying I was some eastern enlightened soul.

I like the writing styles of Woody Allen and Charlie Kaufman and the directing styles of Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick and to a somewhat lesser extent Philip Kaufman. Although my student work doesn't reflect any of it as of yet.

I like: the occasional thunderstorm in CA, sunny days when I don't have to work, cloudy days when I do, and getting sympathy from strangers for my broken ankle (although this is rapidly coming to an end). My pet peeves are (but not limited to):super slow internet connections, parking lot traffic jams, toothpaste stains, when people pucker up their lips in photographs, the little alligators on 3 button t-shirts, and sometimes t-shirts with v-necks, almost anything with cheese, and when people repeatedly use finger gestures for quotation marks; when meeting someone new and I share something somewhat personal and their response is "oh well it was nice to meet you" meaning they didn't get anything I said, oh and I almost forgot when people say "cali" instead of "California" and when people say "pacific" instead of "specific" Other than that I think I'm pretty peaceful.
